Become a sponsor to Abhimanyu Saharan
Hi, I'm Abhimanyu. I build software, infrastructure and open-source tools, usually because I want something to exist and think other developers might find it useful too.
My current major project is DevFeed.tech, a free and open-source developer reading platform that discovers, indexes and organizes technical content from across the web.
DevFeed has grown considerably since I launched it, and that also means the infrastructure behind it has grown considerably. Crawling and processing content, running search, storing data and images, AI-assisted processing, and serving traffic all require real compute, storage and power.
I currently run much of this infrastructure myself and pay for it out of pocket.
What does sponsorship pay for?
Sponsorships go directly toward keeping my open-source projects running and improving them, including:
- Compute and servers
- Storage and backups
- Power and UPS infrastructure
- Hosting and bandwidth
- Domains and other infrastructure costs
- Hardware needed as the projects grow
My goal isn't to put useful features behind a sponsorship or paywall. I want projects like DevFeed to remain freely available to developers.
Sponsoring simply helps me keep building, operating and improving them without having to make every infrastructure decision based entirely on what I can personally fund that month.
If you use something I've built, learned from the source code, contributed to one of my projects, or simply want to support independent open-source development, even a small sponsorship helps.
And if sponsoring isn't for you, that's completely fine. Using the projects, reporting bugs, contributing code, sharing them, or even leaving a ⭐ on GitHub helps too.
Thank you for supporting my work.
Reaching $100/month will help offset the infrastructure costs of keeping my open-source projects online and free for everyone. It will go toward compute, storage, bandwidth, power and backups for projects like DevFeed.tech. I currently fund these costs myself, so every dollar here gives me a little more room to keep building, scaling and shipping without putting features behind a paywall.
