The clean-machine bootstrap for the official PhreshOS CLI and System.
Installation guide · CLI · Source
This repository detects the host platform and architecture, acquires a verified
Node.js runtime, installs @phreshos/cli, and delegates System installation and
native service policy to phresh system install.
It owns only clean-machine bootstrap and delivery of the platform scripts. The CLI owns all behavior after it is available.
Linux and macOS:
curl -fsSL https://install.phreshos.com/sh | bashWindows PowerShell (Windows is not fully supported yet; some Programs do not work there):
irm https://install.phreshos.com/ps1 | iexThe bootstrap does not require Node.js, a package manager, or Git to be installed first, and it is safe to run again. See the installation guide for requirements and System lifecycle commands.
bun install --frozen-lockfile
bun run check
bun run devBuild or deploy the Worker with:
bun run build
bun run deployverify runs static checks, the Worker build, and the automated tests, including
bootstrap syntax checks for the current platform.
check performs static checks, build creates distributable output, and test
runs Vitest assertions from tests/. Run build before testing built artifacts.
verify runs check, build, and test in order. Operational tooling belongs
in scripts/; tests and their fixtures belong in tests/. Verification uses
the committed dependency graph without local package substitutions.
@phreshos/cliowns System acquisition, installation, updates, and native service management.- PhreshOS System provides the release installed by the CLI.
- PhreshOS Documentation owns the canonical installation workflow.

test:platform explicitly selects native service/installation tests for the
current OS. These may change temporary host services; CI runs them on disposable
runners after building.
