Probe finished: the published mcpp 2026.10.8.1 installed through xlings 2026.10.8.1 from a fresh home and ran hello with each host's default toolchain on ubuntu-24.04-arm, macos-latest and windows-latest, through both GLOBAL and CN (6/6). |

Temporary probe after the 2026.10.8.1 release: a fresh xlings home with the published xlings 2026.10.8.1 client, GLOBAL and CN mirrors,
xlings install mcpp, thenmcpp new hello && mcpp runwith each host's default toolchain. Every other workflow is removed. Do not merge.
